I was re-reading my most recent blog on my secondary blog: Chastity Fantasies of an Obsessive Fantasist. I realised that I should've posted it here.

Fantasies Are Not Politically Correct
It never ceases to amaze me the lengths to which some go to pronounce something wrong. A classic example is that recently the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation - not, well you know?) decided that they were going to drop BC and AD from date references, as it might offend non-Christians. The way things are heading, we won't be using so much as an indefinite article, as there must be someone somewhere that 'it' might upset!!

I'm well aware that there are other forms of communication, other than the written or spoken word. But I happen to think it an important one. However, we are fast running the risk of arriving in an Orwellian world of using 'double plus good' in place of 'marvelous', 'terfific', 'fantastic', etc. Sadly, even these words have lost their individual meanings. - Such a pity.

Recently I was told I was misusing a word. Always one to recognise my imperfections, I asked what word should I be using. I was met with abuse, from a different blogger. I found the attitude stunningly disappointing. To quote Mr Spock of Star Trek, "For everything there is a first time." Maybe we should all take a minute to tell the difference between 'ignorance' and 'stupidity'? Ignorance can be instantly remedied with a few kind, understanding words. Stupidity will sadly repeat itself. I would urge everyone to err on the side of suspecting ignorance.

The world of fetishes, S&M, BDSM, Leather/Rubber/Latex/PVC/Spandex etc. attire, Power Exchange, T&D, Cuckolding, to name a few, is full of incorrectness. However, this is who we are. We can't just say, "Oh I don't like [XXX] because I'm not supposed to". It's never going to work that way. This is obvious to me, but how many people, not 'in the scene' even come close to this understanding?

There was a WW2 pilot that had a black Labrador called 'Nigger'. I saw a remake of the 1950s film will airbrush this loyal squadron mascot from history, all because of his name. Robertson's (makers of fine jams and marmalade) used a Golliwog (a child's toy, like a black teddy bear, dating back to before the Great War (WW1)) for a trademark. They bowed to pressure from the PC zealots and no longer use it. And, just to be clear, the London Underground is not a political movement.

I've been surfing - as you do. What has surprised me is the number of reblogs I come across. (Heavy de-ja-vou.) Also the number of bloggers that just post an image, with not a word of why they like the image. I always thought a good comment made a blog. Obviously, this is just me?

This image has appeared on quite a few of these sites, minus my caption. Those that have made a comment say how much they wish they were the guy. I can't supress a giggle, as I altered this image, adding the CB-3000 to make it better for the caption. It's as much a fantasy as the caption. I hope the original couple don't come in for some teasing. You can just imagine it, can't you? - Their friends turning up to a dinner party and demanding to see the CB-3000. My apologies, if they do.

I've mentioned on both my blogs how I like to alter images. This is my therepy - fantasy. I hope in my persuit of a good caption I don't inadvertantly cause a problem for the people in the photo. That said, re-blog away! I can hardly get precious over images I've found, many of which were re-blogged.

Saw something on Tom Allen's site Edge of Vanilla about word of how the value of the submissive male is generally low. I can empathise with this view. I love reading stories with a consenual, romantic theme. Writing them is an entirely different thing. Captions can be mini stories, but a proper length, thirty pager? Too hard for me. I can produce comics, not novels. Ho - hum!

I suppose the closest I've come is a series. I've done a few. Some deal with a single conversation, others are snapshots over weeks or months. But in all cases, the reader fills in the gaps, not shown in the captioned images. And that's great; when someone fills in the gaps, they make it their own. Just my kind of therapy.

Here is a story idea that I've put into a caption. If it wasn't for the 'fun & games' of the past generations, we wouldn't be here - obviously! Would anyone care to try to build the story?

If so, give it to alterboy. I've long wanted to contribute to his fine site, but US laws make it impossible for me to contribute any images. Does karma count?

Oh No, Holiday Snaps!

My Google map has stopped working, as I think there are too many visitors to be displayed, now. And yet... most of the comments I get are about the captions, but not the posts.

Okay, I love getting comments. Please keep making them. But it's only rare that I get a comment to do with the blog. Do I come across as a Preacher? - So you just don't say, "That was from John 1:19, not the other place. Go read it again." I know this is my rant/therapy medium, but you can add your 2c, too. If it's that bad I'll just delete it! :-))

I think it's the greatest flaw, in man, that we can't actually feel one another's pain. (For a start there would be a lot less war, if we could.) But on the rare occasion I do touch a subject that is close to your heart, please add a comment.

I was surfing some self-bondage sites, and came across a video of Lore Lee, (of Bedroom Bondage fame). This particular story involved the lady's obsession with tying herself up. Fetish Kimmy Oh My!

Been a silent fan for a while, now. I first came across her on YouTube. It's All A Matter Of Style

I've seen comments on forums where the person is so fearful of upsetting someone they back away from the question they really wanted to ask. It is a sad reality that not everyone has the confidence to ask a question in such a protected and anonymous environment as the Internet. It is all a question of style.

My response was as follows:

Not to put too fine a point to it, we all have a different style. Although I think much rubbish is written about star signs, I do like the shorthand, as a start point of discussion. For example, Librans like to gather the most information before they commit to a solution. Sagittarians fire arrows with the sole purpose of getting a response. Taureans reach a comfort level, and then execute their plan. They are known to be stubborn, and only change their minds if very important information comes to light. (I'm Taurean) Pisceans never get lost, they just change where it is they want to go! But just like the salmon, they have enormous courage, and can overcome great obstacles.

I'm rambling, but here's the thing. I'm an earth sign. ... Highly practical; goal orientated. ... However, I've known others I find very difficult to follow, or communicate with, but somehow seem to get where they want to go. As I've mellowed with age (he boasts) I become mad at myself for my misunderstandings rather that at the people I don't understand. However hard I try, I still make assumptions, when there are gaps. (As I'm not very good at reading between the lines, there are perhaps more gaps for me).
